Shirataki Spanish Rice

I have started experimenting with the new shirataki products available. These are nearly zero carb substitutes for rice and pasta. My first try was Shirataki Spanish Rice. I served it with tacos made from extremely low-carb tortillas.

The rice came out fantastic. You can hardly tell the difference between this and the same dish made with regular rice. But the dish with regular rice has about 37 grams of carbs per serving and this version has about 14 grams of carbs per serving. Not only do you save 23 grams of carbs, but that is 92 calories you save as well.
